I will write a rough draft of my paper about the Dashwoods today-- I will. I only have to relate the real world insanity of Sir Francis Dashwood to the Dashwood family in Sense and Sensibility-- and I have no doubt that they are related. JA would have played with the connotation of the word "Dashwood."
As for the particulars of that relationship, however, I find myself-- Uncertain. This is where thinking comes in-- thinking, solitude and a mug or two of coffee.
In other news, when attempting to exchange dollars for pounds through my parents' bank, I learned that there are three types of pound. Isn't that exciting?
Exciting-- a word otherwise defined as a confusing surfeit of currencies for an island. Maybe the Bank of America just likes to be confusing. I thought a pound was a pound, in the same way a dollar is a dollar.
We learn something every day.
